Workshop Overview

Using Millon’s evolutionary model of personality, available research, and 30 years of clinical lore, this ADVANCED workshop will help regular users of the MCMI-III assessment hone their test interpretation skills to the expert level. The workshop will cover the new Grossman Facet Scales; complex test profiles; test performance in special populations; ways to incorporate results from other tests, such as the MMPI-2 and Exner Rorschach; and how to create integrated, theory-based treatment recommendations.

The workshop is designed to help you:

  • Apply Millon’s evolutionary model of personality to MCMI-III test interpretation
  • Effectively use the new Grossman Facet Scales
  • Analyze and explain complex test profiles
  • Comprehend and apply recent research on controversial topics
  • Discuss test performance in special populations
  • Integrate MCMI-III results with those of the MMPI-2 and Exner Rorschach
  • Develop integrated treatment plans centered on Millon’s model of personality

Workshop Presenter:

Stephen Strack, PhD, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Los Angeles, CA
