Recent Innovations in MMPI-2 Test Interpretation to be Presented to Correctional Mental Health Staff
February 25, 2004, MINNEAPOLIS—Attendees at the April, 2004 Symposium of the Mental Health in Corrections Consortium in Kansas City can attend a workshop to learn about recent developments in MMPI-2 (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2) test interpretation, including:
- Revised MMPI-2 Validity Scales Profile
- The MMPI-2 Personality Psychopathology Five (Psy-5) Scales
- The MMPI-2 Restructured Clinical (RC) Scales
Yossef S. Ben-Porath, PhD, will present the research that led to these innovations at a pre-conference workshop entitled “Recent Developments in MMPI-2 Interpretation: An Update for Correctional Psychologists” to be held Monday, April 19, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Practical guidance will be provided for incorporating these innovations when using the MMPI-2 test in correctional mental health settings.
Ben-Porath is a Professor and Director of Clinical Training in Psychology at Kent State University. He is co-author of the MMPI-2 and MMPI-A manuals, and authored numerous articles, books and book chapters about the tests. He is co-director of the MMPI-2 educational workshop series and serves as a consultant to the test’s publisher, the University of Minnesota Press.
