Campbell Interest and Skill Survey: activity 3 — choosing areas for exploration

Look through your CISS^® report and make a list of the occupations that are labeled Pursue or Develop.

Place a star by the five occupations that appeal to you most.

Then look through the list of your top three Fields of Study and Related Occupations at the end of your report. Write down the ones that appeal to you. Place a star by the five that are most appealing to you. (You may also want to look at the Fields of Study and Related Occupations for the orientations that were closely ranked to your top three.)

What themes do you see among the occupations and/or fields of study that you starred? What similarities do you see with the themes you identified in Activity 2? What new information do you see?

Now you need to narrow your choices. Look at the occupations that you marked with a star. Select the five that are most appealing to you.
