The California Teaching Performance Assessment (CalTPA) is a state-mandated assessment for Multiple and Single Subject Credential Program candidates. California educators are invited to apply and must meet specific qualifications for credentials and educator experience within the last 3 years.
Scoring of the CalTPA will include assessor training and calibration and will be subject-specific. Assessor training typically occurs each spring and fall based on submission estimates and assessor needs. Once calibrated, scoring activities will be completed from home with a part-time, flexible schedule.
