Getting started
Q-interactive® consists of a website called "Central" and an app called "Assess". Central, found at qiactive.com, is where you go to set up your examinees, build test batteries, and create score reports. The Assess app is where you administer and score tests using two iPad® devices connected with Bluetooth®. You can find more details about how Q-interactive works here.
Your welcome email contains a link that takes you to qiactive.com, where you will create the password you will use to access both Central and Assess. Once you create your password, you are ready to create a client, set up your iPads and administer your first test on the system. Our Quickstart Guide and Video will walk you through this simple process!
Resources
We provide a number of resources that you can use to familiarize yourself with Q-interactive. They cover a wide range of topics and are available in a variety of formats to best match your onboarding needs. Below is a summary of what is available:
The Support tab at qiactive.com houses user guides, manuals, and videos addressing system functionality to test-specific content, describing how to administer, score and interpret the tests on Q-interactive.
- User Guides: Written with easy-to-follow instructions and screenshots, these PDFs provide detailed instructions on how to install the Assess app, configure your iPads for test administration, and use the features and functions of the system.
- Videos: Our Q-interactive tutorial covers a wide range of topics with short overviews of specific system features to help you familiarize yourself with the platform.
- Test Manuals: The administration and technical manuals for all of the tests on Q-interactive can be accessed for free as part of your subscription. Other supplemental materials such as audio files are also available for some tests like the WAIS-5 and KTEA™-3.
Admin tools
If you’re an admin or administrative assistant, you have access to additional account management features, including adding or removing users and transferring usage between licenses. For step-by-step instructions, refer to our comprehensive Q-i tutorial and admin guide.
