June 25, 2024 - Pearson, the world's leading learning company, is excited to announce its 2024 ADHD Virtual Summit will take place on Tuesday, October 8, and Wednesday, October 9. Designed for clinical professionals and the wider ADHD community, the event features an international line-up of experts, the most pressing ADHD topics today, and the opportunity for clinicians to earn Continuing Education (CE) credits. Registration is open now.
Led by Pearson's Clinical Assessment group and moderated by ADHD expert Dr. Lindsay Ayearst, this year's summit is a direct response to the needs of Pearson clinical customers in the field. An estimated seven million children between the ages of 3 and 17 have been diagnosed with ADHD, according to The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), while approximately ten million adults have ADHD, according to Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD).
"At Pearson, we're continually inspired by the ADHD community, especially clinicians across healthcare and education. This summit is tailored to their requests for current research, practical strategies, and a deeper understanding of ADHD across the lifespan. Our aim is to provide new information and a space to share, learn, and grow together--all to improve ADHD care," said Clay Richey, vice president for Pearson Clinical Assessment.
