Your students may have adverse experiences that affect their learning and their behavioral and mental wellbeing. You can help through teaching resiliency. We'll examine a subset of SEL skills that contribute to resiliency and provide strategies to assess and intervene.
Part one in a three-part series of 30-minute webinars to provide strategies to help teachers and school psychologists support students and families while learning at home.
The Millon Adolescent Clinical Inventory – II (MACI-II) was specifically developed to address the unique concerns, pressures, and situations that today’s teenagers face. This webinar introduces clinicians to the updates to the MACI-II, such as several new clinical scales and validity measures, the modified scoring system, and revamped treatment guides. A case study will be presented to illustrate the instrument’s interpretive steps, with a systematic review of the different sections, including the clinical scales, diagnostic considerations, noteworthy responses, and treatment guides.
Join us to learn about the Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory Computer Adaptive Test (PEDI-CAT) coming to Q-global. Shelley Hughes, OT and Product Manager and Chris Huzinec, MS provide an overview and demonstration of this computer adaptive test that will be available on Q-global.
Prevention, positive behavior support, and response-to-intervention initiatives are in many schools today as central parts of a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) designed to improve the social and academic lives of all students and help create positive school culture. Effective MTSS management is predicated on (a) systematically identifying students’ needs, (b) using assessment data to guide decisions about the selection of effective strategies to improve student behavior and/or achievement, (c) implementing effective interventions, and (d) evaluating student progress and intervention outcomes. This session focuses on SEL assessment practices that involve teachers and students within MTSS systems needed to make important decisions that enhance skills of students and improve the efficiency and quality of the MTSS outcomes.
During this one-hour webinar, Dr. Scheller will discuss Dyscalculia and pose a best practice method for assessment that targets the key strengths and weaknesses exhibited by students with this learning disorder.
This webinar focuses technical aspects and uses of the SSIS SEL family of assessments – screening assessments, comprehensive rating scales, and progress monitoring assessments – for evaluating social behavior involving self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making skills in a school that wants to provide multiple tiers of support services to students.
This webinar will lead participants through the process of synergizing the MCMI-IV profile and facet pages, dimensional elements of Millon Evolutionary Theory, and the interpretive/therapeutic report material.
