Wendy J. Coster
Dr. Coster received her BA in Art at Antioch College in Ohio, her MS in Occupational Therapy at Boston University (BU) in Boston, Massachusetts, and her PhD in Psychology at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Currently, she is Chair and Professor of the Department of Occupational Therapy, Boston University, College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts as well as acting chair of the Physical Therapy Department at BU.
A widely acclaimed researcher and educator, Wendy has extensive publications reflecting her work, primarily in pediatrics and she has received numerous honors including Switzer Rehabilitation Research Distinguished Fellowship Award, NIDRR, U.S. Department of Education, AOTA Roster of Fellows, AOTF Academy of Research and the AOTF A. Jean Ayres Research Award, and the AOTA Eleanor Clarke Slagle Lectureship Award. Wendy has been involved in various AOTF programs and activities including twice serving as the mentor for the AOTF-AOTA Leadership Mentoring Fellowship Program for OT Program Directors.
