Arthur J. O'Shea, PhD
Arthur J. O’Shea received his PhD in Counseling Psychology from Boston College and has since held numerous roles in the field of career counseling. At Boston State College he was founder and director of job placement and counseling and Chair of the Department of Psychology. Arthur served as a professor of Counseling Psychology and director of the Counselor Education Program at the University of Massachusetts at Boston, and has worked as a vocational consultant to federal and state agencies, unions, industry, and legal firms.
Arthur’s publications include co-editorship of the Guide for Occupational Exploration, Revised Edition, and numerous articles in professional journals. He has served as an American Personnel and Guidance Association senator and as president of the Massachusetts Personneland Guidance Associations.
